Kristin Goeringer

CFO, Stage Manager, Co-Owner, Core B/C Faculty

Kristin grew up dancing in Rapid City and was eager for the opportunity to advance her training under Ms. Julie throughout high school at the Academy of Dance Arts.

Kristin earned her BFA in Ballet Performance with a Business Minor from the University of Utah in 2007. Kristin’s husband, Michael, has always been supportive of her dancing dreams and when his term was finished with the United States Marine Corps, he was prepared to follow her to their next destination. Upon graduation, the couple moved to Omaha, Nebraska where Kristin performed with the Omaha Theater Ballet until their closure in 2010. As a founding member, Kristin continued to perform with Ballet Nebraska, now known as American Midwest Ballet, until 2012 when her first daughter was born. Her favorite production was Swing, Swing, Swing!, choreographed by Harrison McEldowney, because she was able to perform many genres of dance in one show, including ballet, tap, jazz, and swing dance! Kristin was an instructor at the professional ballet company’s school throughout her thirteen years of residence in Omaha, Nebraska, teaching ages three to adult, in genres of ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and contemporary/lyrical.
In addition to performing and teaching, Kristin pursued a career in banking and has been working full time for First National Bank of Omaha since 2009 in the mortgage industry. Kristin has worked in all aspects of mortgage servicing and her analytical mindset has led her into a Business Analyst role where she works on system enhancements and as a liaison between the servicing department, IT and upper management.

Kristin has enjoyed “coming home” many times throughout her years away to fill the role of Stage Manager for the Academy of Dance Arts’ annual year-end performances. Now calling the beautiful Black Hills “Home” again with her husband and two dancing daughters, Kristin is excited to join the ownership team as CFO and share her experience, knowledge, and love of teaching with the Academy of Dance Arts family.
